Media Portal 2021+
I resurrected this project. Streaming services are many and trying to have a unified interface to all of them is a bit of a challenge. While Roku and others have built solutions, they don't quite capture what I'm looking for. Mainly the intergration of Youtube content.
Below is 3 views, the home page which shows new content. The second is all content as watched and skipped are hidden. And the last is the channels that I follow for new content. There's also a filter bar along with the abiility to add a new channel to follow. While I have some work in adding tv shows and movies along with video games. It's not completely built out for that as it wasn't the primary focus. It's built using flask/python/html/javascript. With a lot of background scripts that get new content from youtube, imdb, tvdb, trakt, anilist, tmdb, rumble, odysee, justwatch, etc.
Media Portal 2009
I don't use this anymore. Streaming services have come of age. This project consists of multiple aspects. The first user aspect is the website, which worked (2006) pretty well. The next few are what I have been using to access/maintian the system.
Management App
This next one is the management application. It allows for the update of new dvds and the adding
of new RSS feeds. Also, it shows errors that have occurred in the system.

Players
These are a bit old and I only use the website for playback now.
The first player is the video content player. It loads and plays the next new piece of content.
It allows the user to make the video as watched, delete, favorite, and bad.
This next one is for dvd playback. It shows the dvd collection and auto mounts and plays the dvd.
