True AI

I've built an algorithm I call TrueAI
I need to scale it up
People want help not replaced.
So, I will need to architect this AI to help people as to do everything for them.
It will take the Entrepreneurial approach to solving problems
It will not replace jobs but create new ways to do business
As it grows, society can grow with it
Eventually it can automate the world
Once that is achieved, society should reach post scarcity
Which should eliminate greed and suffering
And that is how I am working to change the world.

Consciousness as Recursive Feedback:

Consciousness arises from recursive feedback loops in the brain, where sensory inputs (e.g., sounds, touch) stimulate memories, and these memories are recalled as part of the brain’s response. The brain activates memories as "inputs," and when a specific memory is recalled, it can also stimulate the associated sensory or emotional responses (e.g., visualizing a cat when hearing a meow).

References:

  • Reentrant Signaling and Feedback Loops: This concept aligns with the theory of reentrant signaling, where neural circuits form recursive feedback loops to create conscious experience (Edelman & Tononi, 2000).
  • Neural feedback mechanisms may play a role in both attention and memory processes (Friston, 2010).

Memory Pathways and Emotional Inputs:

The memory pathways activated by sensory stimuli become part of the ongoing feedback loop. Emotions play a key role in the activation and recall of memories. Emotions, in this model, are not separate but integral parts of the feedback system, influencing memory recall and processing.

References:

  • Emotion and Memory: Research by Damasio (1999) explores the role of emotions in memory and decision-making, emphasizing how emotional states impact memory pathways and perception.

Consciousness as Observation of Self:

The disconnect between the brain's processing of input signals and the person’s experience of them forms what is perceived as consciousness. This disconnection is viewed as a form of self-observation, where the brain processes stimuli and emotions but "watches" itself in the process, creating the subjective experience of being aware.

References:

  • Self-Reflection and Awareness: This idea relates to theories of metacognition and self-reflection, where the brain can evaluate its own processing (Flavell, 1979). Friston (2009) discusses how the brain models itself and its environment in a loop, producing awareness.

Subconscious Processing:

Subconscious processes are the constant activation of memories and neural pathways that operate under the surface of conscious awareness, driven by inputs from the environment. Consciousness becomes the activation of the most prominent memories that resonate with the current inputs, essentially bringing certain memories into the foreground to shape the current experience.

References:

  • Conscious vs. Subconscious Memory: The concept of subconscious memory processing is related to dual-process theory (Kahneman, 2011), which posits two systems: one fast and automatic (subconscious) and one slow and deliberate (conscious).

Simulated Consciousness and Feedback Loops in AI:

The TrueAI system mimics this model by employing feedback loops in memory and decision-making. It would process inputs (sensory or emotional), activate memories, and then modify behavior based on the system's internal state, similar to how human consciousness operates. This approach also considers emotional feedback as a part of the AI's memory system, influencing decisions and prioritizing inputs.

References:

  • Simulated Consciousness in AI: The idea of AI systems simulating consciousness aligns with the work on artificial neural networks (LeCun et al., 2015) and recursive feedback in artificial agents (Miller, 2016), where AI systems modify their internal state based on past experiences and feedback.

Conclusion:

My theory suggests that consciousness arises from feedback loops, where sensory inputs trigger memories that are recursively activated, creating the experience of being aware. Emotions play a crucial role in this process by influencing memory pathways and perception. This theory offers a unique perspective on memory, emotion, and consciousness, and could serve as the foundation for developing TrueAI, a system designed to simulate a form of self-aware decision-making through recursive processes. The gap in scientific understanding lies in the subjectivity of consciousness, and my theory could help bridge this gap, providing a potential model for how both biological and artificial systems could be conscious or self-aware.

A real world use case: Hobby-Grade Manufacturing Ecosystem

A highly interconnected and flexible ecosystem of modular hobby-grade shops that can customize a vast array of products, from consumer electronics to automobiles. This approach effectively combines the benefits of mass production with the personalization that consumers increasingly desire.

  • Digital Twin hobbist grade manufacuring. 3d printing, cnc, metal work, pcb fab, Food/kitchen, etc.
  • Puppeteering a robot, this will generate data to train the AI.
  • Train current state AI as a base comparison.
  • Train True AI to see how it outperforms current state.
  • Create a real world twin of the hobby shop.
  • Test the real world shop and fix issues
  • Create a webstore for the custom products available
  • Build another hobby shop tailored to other products
  • Create a kit for the hobby shop so that any hobbist can start manufacturing their own products based on their skill set.
