Wow Bot Proposal Document

This document will be the closing capture statement of the Concept Development Phase. Requires customer approval.

Idea

World of Warcraft is a long a repetative game. Supposedly the game becomes fun when you reach the end game. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to create a character that is at the highest level so you could just play end game. Well this is the thought that drove this project. The goal is to create a system that would play your character up to the highest level. If creativity inspires me then take this to the next level and have the system play the character's as if they were human.

High Concept

Automate the playing of WoW.

Target Market Segment Strategy

Why play the teadious parts of WoW when you could just play the fun part, End Game.

Features

  • Level a character from 1 to the highest level.
  • Farm for materials
  • Level skills
  • All of this automatically

Target Market

People that want to enjoy the fun of end game without having to work through the teadium.

Target Hardware Platform

If it can play WoW it should be able to run this system.

Estimated Schedule and Budget

2 to 4 months of full time development.

Competitive Analysis

Others hack the system to achieve this. This solution will not hack the game at all. The goal is to make the character play like someone is really playing the game.

The Team

Someone that understands AI, how to play WoW, and lua.

Risk Analysis

WoW has limited the api signficantly to counter applications like this. So sofisticated techniques need to be deployed that cannot be countered.
