Wow, this is going to miss some history. I worked on this for three months. It took a while to first get a grasp on the FBX sdk but when I realized that 3ds MaxScript is the same code. So using the help system sped up the work considerably. Most of the grunt work of importing the model data is done. There are still some features that I'll add to eventually. I'm currently working on animation. This animation is hanging me up. I think it is related to using the biped in max. When I use normal bones the animation works fine. But I might stop that work in favor of getting more of the simple things working first. These simple things would be cameras, simple animation, linking of meshes, model references, etc. Basically worry about the general stuff to get it closer to an actual game engine. We'll see.
