I don't remember, it was along time ago.  What I do remember is that the app worked well and can load 3ds models along with their animations.  But this is the work of the library I found.  Recently I reviewed it and found that this format/library was limited in that the animation and texturing had to be baked and made the model file rather large.  So I switch to the FBX file format.
