This document will be the closing capture statement of the Concept Development Phase.  Requires customer approval.

===== Idea =====
A computer in your car.  Wouldn't it be nice to have the full capabilities of your computer in your car.  Well that's the idea for this project.  The down side to a computer is the interface.  Your not going to drive your car and use a mouse and keyboard at the same time.  The goal is to create an interface for most of the functions one would want to have in a car.

have your computer in your car.

===== Target Market Segment Strategy =====
Listen to music, play a movie, get directions, anything a computer can do at the touch of a button in your car.

===== Features =====
  * Play music whether it be mp3s, radio, or cds.
  * Play movies on dvd or avis or isos.
  * Get directions to where you want to go with gps tracking.
  * Get the current weather.
  * whatever your computer can do.

===== Target Market =====
People that want a cheap alternative to the expensive in car head units with a display.

===== Target Hardware Platform =====
This is a low end mini-itx atom based computer with a 1gig of ram.

===== Estimated Schedule and Budget =====
The hardware should cost under $600 and the time to create should be between 2-3 weeks at 1 FTE.

===== Competitive Analysis =====
Most of the products on the market are based around navigation and movie playback.  Not many of them allow for more functionality.  Since this is a pc it has the capability to do anything a pc can do.

===== The Team =====
Someone that understands windows development either in MFC or C#.  It may be beneficial to port this app to other platforms.

===== Risk Analysis =====
The time it may take me to build this in my free time may take to long and the industry may release something by then.

===== Summary =====
A computer in your car that can do what you want it to do.
